چکیده

Body temperature, respiratory rate, and pulse rate are required as the basis for determining health status of cows. This study aims to measure body temperature healthy beef cattle. A total 25 mixed-breed cattle aged more than 1.5 years were used in this study. All cows physically examined, their breath, frequency per minute calculated, was measured by measuring rectal vaginal temperature. The results showed that all examined good health, characterized a appetite, had normal activities. Cows 20 ‒ 44 times/minute with an average 32.6 ± 6.8 times/minute, 76 96 84.2 5.4 times/minute. Measurement vagina 37.9 39.4 °C mean 38.53 0.42 °C, while 37.7 39.2 38.49 0.38 °C. measurements using two methods did not show significant difference. It concluded 39.4°C physiological parameters cow.

Thermoregulatory Mechanisms of Jersey Adult Cattle and Calves Based on Different Body Sites Temperature

In this experiment six healthy adult dairy Jersey cattles and eight calves (aged 4-6 months) were selected to measure temperature of different body skin sites, rectal temperature, respiration and heart rates during summer and winter. Body sites maximum and minimum temperature in calves during summer belonged to the ear, forehead, right flank, abdomen (38.4-38.9 ˚C) and carpus (32 ˚C). This was ...

Rootzone Temperature on N Absorption and Physiology of Cucumber

Increasing nitrogen absorption efficiency reduces use of excessive application of N. The effect of rootzone temperature on nitrogen absorption needs clarification. The experiment was conducted to investigate low (15°C, RTZ1), high (35°C, RTZ2) and optimum (25°C, RTZ3) root zone temperatures and nitrogen 52.5 (ND1), 78.75 (ND2) and 105 (ND0) mg∙L-1 levels on cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.), cv.
